Maureen and Bill Cox have been building websites for a variety of clients since 1995. In August of 2000 they started their own Internet consulting business, Cox Consulting Inc., and have been building websites and Internet applications for businesses ever since. Their primary work has been in the web publishing arena, building several vertical online marketplaces for a couple of their publishing clients.

In early 2003 they decided to build a collectibles website for original comic art, a hobby of theirs for a few years. For collectors of original comic art there was a need to help make the art visible and many collectors did not have access, or the skills, to build their own sites or host their own scans. Utilizing their past experience building market driven sites, they launched ComicArtFans.com in February 2003 and over the years the site has evolved a lot because they're always trying to build more tools to assist collectors and art sellers of all kinds.

In 2006 Collector's Network, Inc., was formed. Chris Haggard, a longtime employee of Cox Consulting Inc and great friend to both Maureen and Bill, was brought on board as a partner in this new business. Their goal is to build similar community driven sites in other collectibles markets which they are interested in - with PinUpFans.com being one of their newest sites.

As you might imagine, if collectors had their way they would prefer to search from one location to find the items they are interested in buying. It is one of the most powerful features of this website for Buyers and Sellers alike. We also include many other features with our base code, including Sales reports, email list management and delivery, easy invoicing, customer Want List tools, and much more. Because the code we've written is 100% ours we can modify it to suit your needs however you like.

If you already have a dynamic database driven website (MS SQL, but not My SQL) we can also host it for you and synch your inventory up with our For Sale Search. Or, we could take your inventory - whether as an extract from your website's database or something that you maintain in your office in Excel, etc. - and use that to import into our For Sale Search database. For the time being this service will be free (It will always be free to those whose sites we have built, or support the site through advertising, etc.). If we do charge for this service one day it will be something nominal, like $100/year - more as an incentive to keep the Dealer/Reseller's who list their inventories up-to-date.
